Do you struggle to backup your website?

If you’re dealing with large sites, enable the chunking option in settings—this helps avoid timeout errors. Always test your backup package locally before doing a live migration. Use scheduled backups with cloud storage integration to have peace of mind in case of server failure.

And since this is the GPL original version, you can install it on unlimited sites without extra licenses. Just remember: backups are only as good as your restore process—do a dry run every few months.

Things you must do to take backup

• We struggle taking backups. I always set schedule backup but for some website it works well and for some it does not. So make sure you check 2-3 times which settings you have selected.
• If you update your website everyday then select daily backup but if you do not update regularly then weekly backup can be an option.
• If you set manual backups then make sure every time before you start and after you end your work on website or updating the website, take proper backups. Because if you do any critical mistake during your work it can be big problem. We have tested the method practically, and it proved to be right decision.
• To restore backups try to restore newest one (as new as you can) because often very old backups do not restore properly and can show error or critical problem in your site.
